Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to Care Line Connect LLC. By enrolling in any of our service plans, creating an account, or using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Description of Services
Care Line Connect LLC provides scheduled telephone-based wellness check-ins, companionship calls, and communication services designed to provide social interaction and peace of mind for clients and their designated contacts.
Our services are intended to supplement, not replace, the support provided by family members, caregivers, healthcare providers, or emergency services.
2. Not a Medical or Emergency Service
Care Line Connect LLC is not a medical provider, healthcare provider, home healthcare agency, crisis intervention service, emergency response service, or 911 substitute.
Our employees and representatives:
- Are not licensed medical professionals
- Do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, treatment, or medical opinions
- Do not assess medical conditions
- Do not provide mental health counseling
- Do not replace emergency medical services
Any information provided during calls should never be interpreted as medical advice.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should immediately call 911 or your local emergency services.
3. Emergency Welfare Response
If, during a scheduled call, a Care Line Connect representative reasonably believes a client may be experiencing a medical emergency, personal safety emergency, or other urgent situation, Care Line Connect LLC reserves the right to:
- Contact 911 or local emergency responders;
- Contact designated emergency contacts provided by the client;
- Notify law enforcement for welfare checks when appropriate;
- Contact medical personnel or healthcare facilities when necessary to protect the client's safety.
The decision to contact emergency services will be made using reasonable judgment based on the information available during the interaction.
Care Line Connect LLC cannot guarantee emergency responders will arrive within any specific timeframe or that intervention will prevent injury or loss.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and current contact information.
- Provide at least one emergency contact whenever possible.
- Notify Care Line Connect LLC of any changes to phone numbers or emergency contacts.
- Answer scheduled calls whenever possible.
- Inform Care Line Connect LLC of any planned absences or schedule changes.
5. Missed Calls
If a scheduled call is not answered, Care Line Connect LLC will follow the procedures outlined in the client's selected service plan.
Depending on the plan selected, this may include:
- Additional call attempts;
- Contacting emergency contacts;
- Requesting a welfare check from local authorities.
These procedures are determined by the service level purchased.
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
While Care Line Connect LLC strives to provide reliable and compassionate services, we cannot guarantee:
- Continuous availability of telephone services;
- Immediate contact with clients;
- Prevention of illness, injury, hospitalization, or death;
- Detection of every emergency situation;
- Successful intervention by emergency responders.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Care Line Connect LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services.
Except where prohibited by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for services during the thirty (30) days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
8. Privacy
Care Line Connect LLC respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your information for the purpose of providing services, communicating with emergency contacts, and coordinating emergency responses when necessary.
9. Recording of Calls
Calls may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance, training, documentation, and safety purposes where permitted by applicable law.
By using our services, you consent to such recording where legally permitted.
10. Payments and Subscription Services
Subscription fees are due according to the selected plan.
Failure to maintain payment may result in suspension or cancellation of services.
Refund policies are governed by the specific plan purchased.
11. Cancellation
Clients may cancel services in accordance with the cancellation policy stated at the time of enrollment.
Care Line Connect LLC reserves the right to terminate services for misuse, abusive behavior, fraud, non-payment, or violations of these Terms.
12. Changes to Terms
Care Line Connect LLC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and become effective upon posting unless otherwise stated.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State in which Care Line Connect LLC is organized and operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By checking the "I Agree" box during registration, signing electronically, or using Care Line Connect LLC services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
You further acknowledge that:
- Care Line Connect LLC is not a medical provider.
- Care Line Connect LLC does not provide medical advice or treatment.
- Care Line Connect LLC may contact emergency responders or designated emergency contacts if there is a reasonable concern for your health or safety.
- You authorize Care Line Connect LLC to share necessary information with emergency responders or designated contacts solely for the purpose of protecting your health and safety.
